(504 posts)More war? More income inequality? More greenhouse gases being leaked into the atmosphere? More infusion of money into our politics? More Wall Street cronyism?
No thanks.

(504 posts)That's all I can say. Can't take you seriously.
CorkySt.Clair
(1,507 posts)I stopped taking Berners seriously months ago, when it became clear it was all about the free stuff.
seekthetruth
(504 posts)Do you go to school nowadays? Do you know just how expensive it is? The same old argument about wanting free stuff is akin to an old man yelling at kids to get off of his lawn.
You're assuming a whole hell of a lot.......
Regardless, I'd rather not have fracking in this country, or more war. With her, we will continue to fracking, and we're much more likely to go to war.

I can't buy into the pipe dream that Bernie will able to accomplish anything towards fee tuition. He is not that accomplished and he lack Congressional and Senatorial support...always has, always will. And so your pretense that only people with a vested interest in free school are likely to understand Bernie's freebies, has now been debunked.
Demsrule86
(68,869 posts)can you imagine what Trump would do to college loans? It has been pretty good since Obama took them from the banks.
CorkySt.Clair
(1,507 posts)But I can assure you if I were I wouldn't take out $300,000 in loans to get a degree that will get me a job that pays $40,000. As business decisions go, that's pretty moronic. We have a lot of problems with college costs in this country. We also have a lot of problems with discretion and wise, prudent decision making.
Now if you want to go into the hole 400 or 500k to become a doctor, or some other high income professional, that kind of money and the debt associated with it is probably a good investment given that the debt holder will likely earn many more times that over the course of a 30-40 year career.
Demsrule86
(68,869 posts)I hear...then the supers make their decision know as in 2008 and Bernie concedes and endorses...unless he wants to try to be Ralph Nader. He can't win and must know it.

(30,058 posts)someone else, then Sander will not be the nominee. There are over 150 SD's, the delegates will be split tonight and she will have more than enough delegates and someone else will be the nominee, its over for Sanders.

(68,869 posts)Why would the front runner drop out? Bernie is done.

Finally, Sanders would change things radically, while Hillary will be like an Obama third term, but with much more wars and conflicts, she is war happy.

(27,821 posts)Despite the fact that you are ahead by hundreds of delegates and millions of votes, you should ignore the will of the people and drop out - because Bernie is just like the coolest loser ever, and he should be handed the nomination he was unable to win on his own merits.
That makes sense - right?
Number23
(24,544 posts)was tailor made for Sanders and he needed at least a 70% blowout to even pretend to stay viable.
He won't even get 50%, let alone 70%+.
NanceGreggs
(27,821 posts)NO WAY Democrats didn't swoon upon hearing Bernie's "message".
Maybe he should wave that finger in the air with more authority, and shout a little louder - that'll get him the nomination for sure!
rhett o rick
(55,981 posts)to. You've chosen to side with the Wealthy 1% because you think they are the winners. While some are actually fighting against them to help those among us that are suffering. There are two sides to this class war and your Goldman-Sachs isn't on the side of the 2.5 million homeless children. Do you think that Goldman-Sachs' profits are more important? Sorry, that's rhetorical.

(55,981 posts)Some chose to side with the Big Money because they assume they will win. Maybe you will at the peril of the 16 million children living in poverty. Which I guess is just collateral damage for Goldman-Sachs to make bigger and bigger profits.

(14,274 posts)You really think that people are gonna buy that at this point? Sorry, but your guy lost and all this demonizing of Hillary and her supporters just makes you guys look like what you've been all along. Sore losers.
rhett o rick
(55,981 posts)I guess some like to side with them because they admire the Wealthy so much and some think the Wealthy will win and want to be on the winning side.
And Hillary brought her baggage with her. Pointing out that she betrayed her own party and acquiesced to the Republicons, the George Bush Republicons, isn't "demonizing". She blatantly lied to the Senate and American people.
You can name call us all you want, if that's your thing, but we aren't losing. Your Oligarchy may manipulate Hillary into the nomination, but we are a force that won't go away. Some may try to ignore the 2.5 million homeless children in their quest to get more profits for the Wealthy but sooner or later we will throw out the Oligarchy and reestablish democracy.
Some rationalize that Hillary's meager $12 per hour is good enough for the peons, that those in pain don't deserve medical marijuana, that shipping jobs overseas will make our corporation stronger and maybe, just maybe they will trickle on us. The 99% has been losing ground for decades while the Wealthy Fat Cats have been making bigger and bigger profits, and that will continue under a Clinton/Goldman-Sachs presidency.

(99,719 posts)Marin and Humboldt County were two of Obama's best counties in 08:
http://uselectionatlas.org/RESULTS/state.php?fips=6&year=2008&f=0&off=0&elect=1
Obama did well in homogeneous CA counties in 08 and struggled in heterogeneous counties with high Latino populations. The latter are Hillary Clinton's bailiwick.
Los Angeles is more like New York City and Humboldt County and Marin County are more like Stowe.
