Booker: Clinton indictment 'just not going to happen'
Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.), a Hillary Clinton supporter, said Sunday it's not possible that the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee will be indicted in the FBI's investigation into her use of a personal email server while secretary of State. "That's just not going to happen," Booker said on CNN's "State of the Union."
The FBI interviewed Clinton Saturday for three and a half hours as part of the ongoing investigation. Booker called the interview routine and said he expects the investigation to wrap up soon, noting that Clinton has been open for an interview since last summer. "I think this is something that's just routine, and I think we will see the investigation closing up," he said.
Booker would not directly answer a question about whether he is being vetted by the Clinton campaign as a possible running mate. "I'm referring questions ... to the woman that's going to have to make this decision," Booker said.
"That's not a no?" asked host Brianna Keilar. "That is exactly what it is. If you have a question like that, please direct it to the Clinton campaign," Booker said.

Brown not worried about Clinton indictment
Ohio Sen. Sherrod Brown (D) said on Sunday that hes not worried about presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton being indicted over her use of a private email server while secretary of State. Brown, rumored to be among the contenders to be Hillary Clintons running mate, appeared on ABCs This Week.
Im not worried about it, he said, pointing to her release of emails and tax returns. Shes always been willing to talk to authorities. The FBI interviewed Clinton Saturday for three and a half hours as part of the ongoing investigation.

Brown also called last week's meeting between Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former President Bill Clinton "unfortunate."
"I wish it hadn't happened. But I think the FBI will do its job... And I think that -- I think there won't be an indictment. And I think that means she did what many secretaries of State have done in the past."
"I mean, she released more emails and more pages of emails and more records than any of her predecessors of secretary of State, even before she was actually running for president. I think that speaks to her integrity."
