talks about possible endorsement...
Appearing on MSNBCs All In With Chris Hayes, Sanders was pointedly asked whether mounting reports that he is finally getting ready to endorse his longstanding Democratic primary rival had any validity.
Youre not denying the report that there are talks about a possible endorsement? Hayes asked.
Sanders replied: Thats correct.

(193 posts)The FBI investigation is over and he's getting booed by House Dems. What do you expect? Bernie's practically transparent at this point.

(11,495 posts)Some over on that "other" site are trying to get everyone over there to sign a petition to "reverse" the FBI's decision and demand she be indicted. Some will never let it go, and they continue to believe Bernie will be the nominee, no matter what. You are not one of those who signed the petition, are you?

*Edited to add: According to that "pro-Bernie" site JPR, Bernie is scheduled for under-the-bus treatment the second he endorses.

(50,254 posts)He had to keep faith with his millions of supporters.
And if he'd done what you'd really have preferred and not run at all, this election would have been about nothing but stopping Trump.
HRC is a competent person who would so some small progressive things without prodding, but we needed something like the Sanders campaign to actually inject hope and passion and ideals into this race.
It was worth having him run, and what his campaign stood for is real and matters.
We are all better off and we have a stronger, much more progressive platform as a result of Bernie's presence in the race.

Bernie was in it for Bernie. In that, he succeeded.

(5,272 posts)for themselves, they end up getting rich and enriching their family members while in congress, or if they're in it for the power and the backing, they carry the water for big corporate interests, and they make out in campaign support as well as gain traction within the establishment. I know of one democratic candidate who has gotten rich while working in Washington and it's not Bernie Sanders, so the characterization that he's now somehow in it for himself, when his positions are the same as they were 40 and 30 and 20 years ago when he was getting no traction with them, getting entirely shut out by the media, is something that I wish you'd examine more deeply before carelessly spouting.

(1,729 posts)Jim Jones Radicals feels like an inside look at the 9/11 Truthers, rooting for Republicans to get Hillary any way they can and picking apart every possibility that keeps their dream alive, all while most are still delicately ignoring that Sanders has all be endorsed our candidate. That site is a psychological expose into what happens when dreams die.

(18,402 posts)to reach this point, more than a month after the race was over. While I'm glad he'll finally endorse, I'm hardly impressed with the gesture at this point.
It's like having a month-long argument with someone who, finally, just because there is no longer any defense, grudgingly says, "OK, you were right." It means very little at that juncture. Just an end to the fighting.
