Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.) on Monday said he doesn't expect to be picked as presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton's running mate.
"I was speculated about eight years ago, and it's nice to be speculated about," he said on MSNBC's "MTP Daily."
"In my gut, eight years ago, I didn't think it was going to go that direction, and I got to say, in my gut right now, I kind of feel like I'm going to stay in the Senate."

(5,943 posts)not compared to the last go round. They asked him twice what his wife thinks about his being VP, and he completely avoided the question. And when he compared this time to last time, it didn't ring as all that sincere. That's just my take, for what it is worth.

(671 posts)He just doesn't have that WOW factor like Warren or a Gavin Newsom would have for me.
Wouldn't change my vote of course. ..just think there is better candidates available.
