2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumTeam Clinton has outspent Team Trump in nine battleground states by a 40-1 ratio...
but...
A Quinnipiac University poll released this week showed the presumptive GOP presidential nominee up 42 percent to 39 percent in swing-state Florida. Clinton had an 8-point lead in Quinnipiacs poll of the state last month.
The same survey showed Trump ahead 2 points in Pennsylvania, another big swing state, and tied in Ohio. The three states have been pivotal in the last four presidential elections.
NBC News reported this week that Clintons campaign and allied super-PACs have spent $57 million so far, while Trumps campaign hasnt spent anything, and two allied outside groups have spent only $3.6 million.
Is Clinton not running a strong enough race? Why aren't more Dems questioning her performance so far?
Trump has to be beaten at all costs. Even Clinton says it's the only thing that matters.
It's early days yet but I can't believe there aren't more dems raising concern about this race.

(5,737 posts)Her campaign worked the primaries very well. She/they picked the battle states, not her opposition. She/they are doing the same with the electoral map states. Landslide win for her in November. Romney was ahead of Obama at this time four years ago in the polls. Lay off the polls until Labor Day, then ignore Rasmussen and Quinnipac.
