to me, the RNC mob chanting "BUILD THE WALL" was even scarier than Melania's plagiarism

I really didn't intend to watch any of this but it had that awful car wreck magnetism to it and I just couldn't turn away.

However, what really, really freaked me out was a mob of Americans shouting/chanting BUILD THE WALL! BUILD THE WALL! BUILD THE WALL!

That's definitely Nazi lite. Did it go unremarked by the MSM? I tried to only watch this through C-SPAN because I couldn't stand to hear their legitimizing that maniac (although I understand that even the usually not so critical thinkers were having a hard time playing along, so there's always hope there). They seem crazy enough to shout anything back.

I remember Susan Sarandon quoting from Hitler at a speech during the run-up to the Iraq War and a hostile guy in the audience member said, "Yeah! That's right" thinking she was quoting George W. Bush. When she said it was from Mein Kaumpf he shut up. Trump could read translated passages from Hitler (speeches of which I understand he keeps by his bed but has never read) and they'd just repeat back the slogans to him.
