Related: About this forum***** BREAKING - FBI investigating suspected Russian hack of DNC emails*****
Fallout over the emails led DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz to announce her resignation Sunday.
"The FBI is investigating a cyber intrusion involving the DNC and are working to determine the nature and scope of the matter," the agency said in a statement. "A compromise of this nature is something we take very seriously, and the FBI will continue to investigate and hold accountable those who pose a threat in cyberspace."

will be able to accomplish this task.

(3,825 posts)This is something we all need to be concerned about no matter whose campaign was being compromised. This is a foreign government apparently trying to influence our presidential elections and we want answers concerning who was involved, who they were coordinating with and the ultimate why. So many dots are starting to connect, and that's always been the greatest danger and the greatest questions "Why didn't you connect the dots?" How many times have we heard that one.

(4,835 posts)On our European allies. Of course the Russians are going to help him.
It's the kind of thing that fiscal conservatives find appealing about 'the Donald'.
The flip side is that the military industrial complex (which controls the media) isn't likely to be all that excited about Trump's thriftsavery on this matter that is so important to them.
It will be interesting to see how Hillary's team will spin this and how steadfast Trump is on his 'make them (the Europeans) pay for their own defense' stance.

The Russians supporting him because he's weakening our defense might not work as well.
