(58,785 posts)have all the delegations stand up and state how they voted. It'll underline how many delegates he got so he can use that to continue his revolution going forward.
The delegations won't point out that a solid minorities in each state who voted for Bernie in the primary were actually hostiles who would never have voted for him in the general and that as a result the delegate counts significantly overstate the numbers who sincerely voted for him. I'm kind of anal about watching people lie with numbers, so I'll be grinding my teeth a bit tonight, but he has a revolution to run.
Btw, new Pew data say 90% of Bernie's consistent supporters also now support Hillary for president. Right on the number projected by analysts long ago, with still time for more to join.

(1,209 posts)in 2008, New York, not Illinois put Obama over the top. The New York votes were given by on of their Senators, a certain H R Clinton. What ever happened to her?

(190 posts)by the time the later states voted, the hall was emptying out. Better to do it early in the day so all the delegates can be apart of the celebration, and it will be news heading into primetime.
