If Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker or Al Franken were losers, then the first night was a home run.

(12,165 posts)My take is that it was win-win all the way. It was almost scary how well everything and each speaker fit together into a seamless garment covering all in unity. I certainly disagree with the WAPO opinion that Sens Booker, Franklin and Warren were losers. This is the 1st political convention that was entertaining, informative and really more than a pep rally that I have ever viewed. My only hope is that yesterday's success will be built on each day of the convention.
It was YUGGGGGE!
And I loved the Sarah Silverman/Al Franken "bridge" to Paul Simon and "Bridge Over Troubled Water." I guess we don't have to steal the good music.
