I liked that Bill Clinton was seated next to Cecile Richards last night

it is a symbolic show of the importance of both planned parenthood and abortion rights for the Democratic party.

I will also be proud to champion the party that stands up to the rights of women and minorities.

I asked my wife who that was and she spit it out pretty quickly. It impressed her! tonyt53 Jul 2016 #2
As did I. It also reminded me of her mom. Grew up in Texas and she was a real hero. emulatorloo Jul 2016 #3

Cecile has asked me if we wanted to get together at the convention, and I had to regretfully decline as I wasn't going this time. I got VIP status at the Texas Democrats last time (in Denver), and would have seen her there, too, this time. Besides, if I had been there, we might have had a threesome with Bill Clinton. Still, I need my fix of Cape sunsets (and a few weeks of rest).

But what the hell--it was good to see them chatting. It means Cecile has a good chance of having Hillary's ear when it comes to women's issues, and that is never a bad thing.
