(3,660 posts)I very rarely seen far left groups protesting the right wing at all as it happens.
But I am glad to infer you at least recognize that there are some areas inappropriate for protests. One might very well be the most important meeting of the party that will support your aims more than the other one don't you think?

I am anti war as well. Bernie primary supporter. Anti-hypocrit too, and that's what bothered me about the yelling.

How does suggesting there is no difference between Trump and Clinton fulfill the mission The Administrator has given to this board:
We are Democrats and we are all Clinton supporters now

(1,214 posts)Biden: Panetta Should Wait Until Obama Leaves Office to Say That

Former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta was harshly critical of President Obamas handling of the new ISIS war, saying the US could have sustained the 2011 Iraq occupation and started arming Syrian rebels even sooner than they did.
But perhaps the most eye-opening comment in has new book tour was that he believes the conflict is a 30-year war that will extend across the world, including campaigns in Nigeria, Somalia, and Libya, among other places.
Panettas new book, entitled Worthy Fights, argues that the Obama Administration repeatedly erred by not taking more hawkish positions, including says the US shouldve invaded Syria outright in 2013 instead of making the deal for Syria to scrap its chemical weapons.
He went on to argue that the 30-year world war he envisions is a chance to repair the damage caused by lot launching massive wars in the previous few years, calling the lack of wars missed opportunities.

Part of the POTUS job description is Commander in Chief.
One question I have not been able to get an answer to from the folks who think Hillary is a hawk: How, exactly, is Putin in Europe to be handled? How, exactly, is China in the South Seas to be handled? How, exactly, is the US to pull out of the wars BUSH got us into? How, exactly, should it be handled if the other parties refuse to cooperate and continue to invade and occupy other nations' territories?
Tell me. Tell us. Tell Leon Panetta. Tell the next president.

CARMEL VALLEY, Calif. Americans should be braced for a long battle against the brutal terrorist group Islamic State that will test U.S. resolve and the leadership of the commander in chief, says Leon Panetta, who headed the CIA and then the Pentagon as Al Qaeda was weakened and Osama bin Laden killed.
"I think we're looking at kind of a 30-year war," he says, one that will have to extend beyond Islamic State to include emerging threats in Nigeria, Somalia, Yemen, Libya and elsewhere.
In his first interview about his new book, Worthy Fights: A Memoir of Leadership in War and Peace, Panetta argues that decisions made by President Obama over the past three years have made that battle more difficult an explosive assessment by a respected policymaker of the president he served.
Even before it's published Tuesday by Penguin Press, the 512-page book has provoked rebukes at the State Department and by Vice President Biden. But Panetta says he was determined to write a book that was "honest," including his high regard for the president on some fronts and his deep concern about his leadership on others.
