It's picking up steam in Europe as well but I think the rank and file European voter is better informed on climate change. They may not agree that it's a problem, but they take the time to explore it from a fact based perspective. And yeah, there are nutbags everywhere.

There is so much greatness packed into that simple statement, not the least of which is sarcastically highlighting the difference between "thought" and "belief."

Don't get too down about it, though. Humanity has always been chained down by people who can't think. What is amazing is how well we are doing in spite of them.
