Been thinking about Capt Khan. He answered one of the highest callings of duty - he willingly stood between death and his unit. That's a commander. It was right and meet that his father reminded all of us what service and sacrifice can be and that those qualities aren't the sole possession of any one group.

I was privileged to see him get angry once, when he was president of the Yale Political Union (he was a year behind me). Raygun's defense secretary Cap Weinberger was addressing the PU.
