I am sick of being called the problem.. A Liberal...

Well I did some homework.. It showed that Conservatism is the root of all the Problem in America..
Conservatism has a History going back to way before the U.S. was even a Country..

The Top 10 Conservative Myths

Conservative Success is based on two things: You forgetting their sorry history, and swallowing down these whoppers!

1.Conservative Myth No. 1 CONSERVATIVES ARE THE REAL AMERICAN PATRIOTS!

Conservative Reality No. 1 This concept would be laughable, if it wasn't so tragically perverse. Far from being patriots, conservatives are too often reckless and dangerous citizens, consistently veering very close to being actual traitors, and they've actually stampeded across that line several times in American history.

Consider the American Revolution. Conservatives were against it! Yes, they were the "Party of No" back then, too. Remember that the definition of a conservative is one who wishes to "conserve," promote, preserve and/or restore traditional "values," hierarchies and institutions. True to form, in 1776 they wanted no part of breaking away from English tradition and their much-beloved British monarchy. They liked being the king's subjects. These conservatives were called "Tories", the name still used for the Conservative Party in England. Another name for them back then was "the King's Men." The British King's Men in America... ah, so telling of their true traitorous nature. So conservatives started off on the wrong side of American history, and that's where they've been ever since.

The term has been perverted to mean something completely different in Foxese than what is in the dictionary. Same for "liberal."

Case in point: I have been with the same woman for the last 41 years. We have two normal, drug-free children who are now out in the world supporting themselves. I have no debts and do no drugs, not even alcohol or nicotine. I inherited lousy cholesterol, and have already had one heart attack. I am not out to try rash, risky stuff that I might not survive. I am the very definition of "conservative." So why do I detest "the" conservatives? Because they are anything but.

Flip side: a British friend of mine was on a rare trip to the States, and was visiting some people in southern Virginia. The discussion got around to politics, and to their horror, they found out she didn't agree with them on much. They then, much to her astonishment, called her "liberal." Expecting to be called some vile term, she was surprised by the sudden compliment. She only knew the word "liberal" as it is defined in English. It was a compliment to her, and in her language, it was neither a synonym nor an antonym to "conservative."

But then, English is the only language she knows. They do not speak Foxese in England.

Hell they'd probably argue that King Henry wasn't conservative enough.
