The point is that "unelectable" is a bad argument. That is what the author is really talking about (however briefly.)

Warren is a former R but I bet you love her. Yeah, it's only 3 years but he looks 15 years older. (Oh no, look-ism!) If you don't get that Bernie is damn near unmarketable then we'll just have to disagree. His age isn't the main thing; it's that socialist albatross that is the killer. Looking like your crazy old uncle will be just a bonus to the GOP smear machine.

... voted for Hillary, that Obama would also, ABSOLUTELY beat any GOP opponent.

Only then did rank and file Dems start to compare them to each other.

Its not CAN Bernie win ... its WILL he ABSOLUTELY win.

I know those who hate Hillary think she can't ... but MOST rank and file Dems believe she absolutely WILL beat any GOP opponent ... just as they did in 2008.

You want Bernie to beat her ... you need to convience those same folks Bernie will ABSOLUTELY win.

He was happy to engage with people who could afford to give the maximum ($2,500) and held plenty of events in High end residences in NYC and LA. As a result, he had the financial resources to mount the kind of campaign necessary to defeat Clinton.

Sanders?

He's a 70+-year-old white guy from Vermont with goofy hair. His path to the nomination will be a 90-degree uphill climb.

thought Obama wasn't electable.

Back in the days when very few realized how republicans played their media game.

It took forever for FOX LIES & IS AN ARM OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY to become understood as the new republican brand.
