Missouri a Battleground State? Hillary Has Republicans Running Scared



Missouri was a battleground state in 2008 but hasn’t voted for a Democratic presidential nominee since Bill Clinton in 1996. Can Hillary threaten the GOP’s dominance in 2016? Republicans sure seem to think so!

Sen. Roy Blunt (R-MO) sent out a panicked email yesterday asking for help to “Stop Hillary” as she plans to campaign in the Show-Me State this Tuesday:

This visit is the start of her campaign to turn Missouri into a battleground state, and she will spend millions of dollars and stop at nothing to make that happen.

Her campaign’s TV ads and turnout efforts could affect Missouri Republicans up and down the ballot in 2016.

Along with a private fundraiser that Blunt & Co. are chewing their fingernails over, the Guardian reports that Hillary is also planning a campaign stop in Florissant, a St. Louis suburb not far from Ferguson.

I think Democrats can win Missouri's Senate race against Roy Blunt. Blunt is uncharismatic, and what has he done for the people of Missouri. Jason Kander can beat him if the DSCC and MSM pay attention to Missouri. Chris Koster, the Missouri Attorney General can win the Missouri's governor's race, he can beat whoever the Republicans nominate in Missouri. Koster is a moderate Democrat that can create a political future for himself if he wins in 2016. Maybe, Koster in 2024 if he has a good agenda in Missouri?

Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders can win Missouri if they have a organization there.
