Will he be eligible to run/stay as Senator for Vermont?
This guy is a treasure that we have to have in Washington. Should a Dem win the nomination, it would be wise to put Bernie somewhere important as Obama did with HC. Something to do with money and people's lack of it.

(10,044 posts)I hope so too, but as the other side keeps reminding us, a Democrat in office is what we need most....I'd be tickled with either of them so long as our Bernie stays in the Senate or is appointed to Treasury.. With Warren and him together, wow, what else could we ask?
I like Bernie too. Have donated twice, and will also send a bit to Joe. I love them both. It's a lot more comfortable for me having two people I would trust as President...
With TPP going through, as we know it will eventually, I'd trust either of these gentlemen at the helm to look out for our interests.

(17,997 posts)I just think it's WAY TOO EARLY to start talking about the "if he doesn't win." It feeds into the Hillary agenda, fantasy if you will, that she has this in the bag.
What we should be talking about, in this particular area, is whether or not Bernie should put Hillary in his cabinet.
P.S. Thank you for the "dearest" my dear.

(26,449 posts)I can't think of a seat where Hillary would be good for the country in Bernie's cabinet.

I can't wait for the debate if it comes down this way...

(17,997 posts)I honestly don't know how Bernie can lose a debate. But, unfortunately, I think that it will be a little like the Kennedy-Nixon debates. The people that only hear it will think differently than the people that watch it
