Related: About this forumMartin O'Malley: U.S. rejecting ‘politics of exclusion’, choosing ‘progressive’ path
from Radio Iowa:
Democratic presidential candidate Martin OMalley told an audience in Ames, Iowa tonight that he is a fearless progressive and the countrys embracing those values.
If you ever doubt whether or not our countrys headed to a more compassionate, a more generous, a more loving place, this was a good week to see that in the United States of America, wasnt it? OMalley asked and the crowd of about 120 Story County Democrats applauded.
Who would have thought in just one week the Supreme Court of the United States became more progressive than every single candidate running for the Republican nomination for president, OMalley said, to more applause.

OMalley said the majority of Americans are rejecting the politics of exclusion on a variety of issues.
If you talk to young people under 40 as I have across the country, you will rarely talk to young Americans who want to blame immigrants for our problems or who deny that climate change is real or who want to discriminate against gay couples, OMalley said. Thats the future of our country.

The former Maryland Governor attended house parties in Sioux City and Carroll before making his way to one in Ames on Sunday night. Governor OMalley says hes going to run his campaign the old fashioned way, by meeting as many people as he can, and asking for their help.

We cannot be as dissatisfied as we are with our national economy and our national politics, and resort to old leaders in the hope that somehow they`ll change what`s happened to us, OMalley said.
When Channel 13 News asked Governor OMalley if he can defeat current democratic presidential front runner Hillary Clinton, OMalley responded by saying there is no inevitable candidate, adding, Your own history here in Iowa has shown the inevitable frontrunner is inevitable right until the first contest. And the contest that matters is when people go to their caucus. In the meantime, Im going to go to every county. I`m going to answer questions. I`m going to provide the best framework I can for the better future that we all want.
...well build on the good things that have been accomplished and in some ways, especially when it comes to reigning in reckless speculative behavior among a small number of really mega big banks, OMalley told Channel 13 News. You will see an O`Malley administration being far more robust in the deterrence we provide and in the regulation necessary to protect our common good, from ever allowing that sort of thing to ever happen again.

and the negative is directed at the gop ... when every Democratic candidate (and their supporters) should focus it.
Thanks for the post, and pictures.
