I've always admired James Lipton. Sharp. Funny. Smart.
=snip=
Lipton said that he felt Romney was trying to play two roles that of the unapologetic rich guy and the regular dude and failing at both as a result. But! Romney has also made a lot of charitable donations, Elisabeth Hasselbeck interjected testily...

(1,328 posts)I cannot stand her and her views. She needs to do a lot of growing up and how she became such a spokesperson for the republicans is beyond me.

(5,062 posts)Anyone notice how Lipton totally ignored her? He didn't look at her or stop talking when she interrupted, nothing. Brilliant. He just ignored her as if her thoughts simply did not matter to him.

(382 posts)I believe the bulk of Romney's charitable donations were to his church, which uses the money mainly for missionary trips where two clean-cut guys on bicycles try to convert everyone they see.
How this benefits society is a mystery to me and should not be tax-deductible.
