Just saw an ad against the health care act.....some women's group....

it ran in Rochester MN.....I'll try to catch the organization the next time. Wasn't fast enough to see who they were, but, they were against it. Something about Washington coming between me and my doctor.

on and on about how much money Obama's plan would cost. Ended with we need a new health care plant but Obama's is not it. I was outraged.

A woman with reddish dark hair and bangs, lying about the whole thing, including the cost issue. Infuriated me.
I had never heard of the group that paid for it but it had "women" in the name.

All these false front groups remind me of the communists in the 1950's. They had all these front group names that were not at all what the names said they were. It was a very common tactic back then. The GOP and the RW has adopted many of the same tactics and they call progressives communists. At least progressives or liberals are honest what we are. Yet they adopt the same kinds of organizational names we have used. Like Americans for Prosperity (of the 1%).

(don't remember it now), googled it, found out (quelle surprise) that it's a right-wing fundie religious group.

Now I remember - it's "Concerned Women for America Political Action Committee." http://www.factcheck.org/2011/10/concerned-women-for-america/ "Concerned Women for America" --- gotta love that name. Seems like all those wingnut outfits have the words "concerned" and/or "America" in them. Or "family."

Have they noticed what Repubs have been up to lately? Except, of course, CWA aren't too "concerned" about government getting in between women and their doctors.

That certainly sounds like another dumb response to the health care reforms. Unfortunately one the most accurate vocal critic is leaving congress This video is gold:

And notice what they're leaving out; that in our current system, for-profit serial-killer insurance agencies are coming between you and your doctor.

We have 100,000 deaths in the U.S. per year due to lack of healthcare.

Fuck the insurance agencies; it's time for single-payer health care.
