Obamacare law upheld! Enforced by tax penalty or not, a win is a WIN.

The case hinged on what came to be known as the “individual mandate,’’ the law’s requirement that all persons (with few exceptions) have health insurance. Under the law, failure to get insurance would result in a penalty that administration officials later tried to characterize as a tax, since it would be enforced by the IRS. The penalty would be $95 in 2014, rising to $695 in 2016.

I agree that a win is a win. For now. But, the Republicans will be able to use this decision as a campaign tool, since President Obama himself previously stated that the mandate was not a tax. They will claim that President Obama has raised taxes on everyone. Also, keep in mind that, if they win in November, ACA can be repealed. It is not over yet. We cannot let down our guard.
