2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumWow! About 15, of my county's 200 000 registered voters, early voted yesterday
in the run-off primary! At this rate, we're gonna have an overall turn-out around 0.1%!
I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Excuses I heard for not voting in the first primary included "I didn't have time" (from somebody who claimed not to know there were multiple early voting sites open every single day for more than two weeks before election day) and "I didn't know where to vote" (from somebody who lived directly across the street from the precinct polling location)

(2,307 posts)I always vote, but if we did have two weeks or a week I honestly don't know which day I would go.
Is one day really that bad of a sign?

(118,379 posts)First day of early voting in Nov 2010, about 300 ballots had already been cast at one of the six sites when I arrived there around 9AM
Of course, this isn't an election: it's a second primary. But it seems to be gettin no attention whatsoever

Ugh....the turnout was terrible
The Republican senate candidate won.
