DU Community Help
Related: About this forumWhy are 90% of my posts missing?
Lately I've been logging in to DU to read but not to post for a few weeks. I just logged on with my password and noticed that 90% of my previous posts are missing. Where are 90% of my posts? That represents a lot of conscientious, unpaid work. I put a lot of trust in DU to treat all its members with consideration. Losing a lot of files, or worse, just tossing them, leaves me kind of speechless. Could it be a computer error? Surely there is a back-up file for everything.

(17,678 posts)...a 'sock puppet' acct because I dont have a ton of posts and i have a star. Im thinking there are trolls here...trying to divide us. I reported them and blocked them.
Dont let 'them' do this to us! Block them and report them like we do on Twitter. Kick their butts back to Russia.

(22,039 posts)After 30 days they drop off that page. If one of your posts which is older than 30 days gets replied to, it will reappear in your My Posts page.
If youre looking for posts older than 30 days, you can use the search function. If you want to keep track of all your OPs in one place, you can use your DU Journal.

(29,313 posts)of the forum page after that point?
Any active thread that is replied to will be kicked back to the top. There is no 30 day limit. (When a thread falls off the bottom of page 30 it can no longer be replied to.)
Heres a post, at 4:42 in GD, that doesnt seem to be on the GD last post time-sorted listing. https://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1002&pid=12033061
Not a big deal, just curious, I recall noticing this seemed to happen once before...?

(207,516 posts)Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
