But in html it's text here

Well, that didn't work!

I was using < s > , then < / s > without the spaces between characters. So: < s > text here < / s >

I know on my iPad I use I can't do it whilst at the DU. If you google "strike thru text" there are web sites that will let you strike thru a word and they you can copy/paste it into your text or doc.
Sometimes your native text file or note software will let you do it. Then copy/paste it into the doc.

In HTML 4, you use the foo tags
but in HTML5, the tags [del]foo[/del] [ins]bar[/ins] are to be used

However, none of those work here in DU land.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
