I lost the ability to hear Videos on DU

This happened before the change to DU4. I can't figure out how to turn the sound back on. Youtube and all other videos on any platform other than DU work just fine. Only on DU I am unable to hear the sound.

I have looked at the account settings and can't find anything to help.

Anybody have any suggestions.

muted on the video? A lot of times I have to click on the volume button on the videos themselves because they're muted. Don't ask me why, it just happens that way. A lot.

DU doesn’t have any control over video volume so the issue lies elsewhere. Is it possible that you have muted the browser tab? I believe that can be done on a site-by-site basis. Try right clicking the browser tab that DU is in, and see if it says anything about being muted.

That worked. I don't know why it is on only that browser tab every time I signed on to DU but it has been that way for a couple of months.

In my Chrome it says "Mute site" and I think if you do that it doesn't just mute the site one time, it means every time your browser opens that site in any tab, it will automatically mute it. So you might have muted a tab one time in the past and then not realized the setting had stuck -- easy to do.

Still resting from a long day so please be patient with me.

Are you using windows, or another OS. what is the OS version?
Can you clarify what is meant by other platforms? Are these different icons you launch or just different websites in a browser?
What browser are you using for DU. Does that browser play sound from other websites?
