The yellow "Most recent" button at the top of the screen--

I would like an option to set that button to the same gray as the others. I find the bright yellow box distracting as I read through thread titles.

Nice job on the upgrade. Love it on my phone.

Thanks.

Are you using Skinner Mode? EarlG Oct 2023 #2
It's the "Most recent" button on the same row as "Start a discussion." CrispyQ Oct 2023 #3

I think the tab or button is highlighted to indicate which of the choices you are currently viewing.

The option to change the color is not available in Skinner Mode I'm afraid. The idea for that layout is to keep it as close as possible to the previous layout, and that's the color which was used previously.

If you are using Default Mode or Night Mode (and if you don't know what I'm talking about, that means you're using Default Mode) you don't have to stick with the flashing yellow button.

Go to My Stuff > Account Settings

Scroll down to the "My Stuff" notification settings section and you will find the options to change it there. Don't forget to hit "Save all settings" when you're done.

And it actually does scroll off the page, so I'll get used to it. It's just when I first see it, I think it's the my stuff button.

I thought you meant the My Stuff button, my mistake.

Perhaps the best bet for this one is to give it a few days and see how it goes. With the change of design, it's easy to kind of hyper-focus on everything while trying to figure out where to look, because it's so new. Hopefully though, you (and everyone else) will soon naturally get used to which parts of the page you want to focus on and which parts you don't, without really thinking about it. At which point the button won't be an annoyance. I hope that makes sense.
