Any chance of moving the hide smilies button

To the top of the smilie list? It maybe just add an extra one there?

In the past 3 days I have accidentally opened the smilies on my phone, then had to poke around to figure out how to close the box. After I found it the first time, in knew where it was hiding - do I was just annoyed that I had to scroll through a couple of screens to get to the button to finish my post.

I typically view on a tablet (chrome). Now with the avatar image at top left, the entire op is now narrower. I could get use to it, but I found the old (yesterday's view) view better.

But you'd be surprised how much work it would take to make that change. It will have to go way down the list of priorities for now.

The button to delay the smilies is above the box where reply text is typed, but you have to scroll a long way down to close it again.

Also, sometimes the "hide smilie" button is at the bottom of the smilies, but other times it shows up underneath the text box itself. The latter is especially confusing until you get used to looking there.
