What happens when a tweeted post is deleted from DU?

This post made me wonder:

The poster found the OP on Twitter, but it has since been self-deleted (wisely).

In this case, the OP was very unkind and inappropriate for a progressive site - I wondered if the tweeted version is still out in the wild.

I'd think it would be the same issue as for all of us... we see a self-deleted post and unless someone captures the original post that started it, most would be left wondering what the fuss was all about.
