I heard this on Thom Hartmann yesterday re: Medicare Advantage

I'm afraid I missed the opening lines as I was (technically) working. My ears perked up when Thom said that the Republicans, should they get control of both Houses of Congress & the White House have plans to kill Medicare once & for all (though that's not surprising).

Apparently they want to pass a bill that would automatically assign people to a Medicare Advantage plan when they turn 65. Per Thom, their plot would make it difficult to cancel the Advantage plan and go to traditional Medicare.

Anyone else know anything about this?
