Just wanted to put the whole thing up in one spot. I don't want to stop discussion on either of the posts. I suspect that they will be a little different in each group. This is just for viewing
He did wonderfully and the audience loved him!
GO BERNIE!

(17,997 posts)I really don't want to try and take any attention from either post already up. Just thought having the full interview up in one place would be good

(14,498 posts)I get my late nite talk shows mixed up: is Seth the guy who is replacing Letterman?
marym625
(17,997 posts)He is on Letterman's old show on NBC though

(14,498 posts)A political guy. On CBS? How could I have NOT known that.
It should be interesting. ( Short-lived, probably; but interesting.)
Thanks.

(13,114 posts)Republican.
I don't think the show will center around politics.
Stephen has an extensive comedy background.
You are most welcome.

(206,886 posts)Just turned on the TV and this was a pleasant surprise. I know it's posted here, but I'm watching the show. It was a terrific interview, looking forward to seeing it again.

(17,997 posts)I think I will watch again too!

(206,886 posts)It was obvious that Seth had done his homework, asked all the right questions to allow the senator to make his positions crystal clear and understandable. I think that Seth is "one of us," same as Dave Letterman is/was. I was prepared to turn off his interview with Ted Cruz, didn't think I could stand it, but Seth pretty much put him in his place, actually kind of made fun of him...
marym625
(17,997 posts)I will have to check it out.
Yeah, I think Seth did a better interview than any of the "news" programs have.

(206,886 posts)Any Cruz supporters would have hated it and the rest of us probably turned it off. I kept meaning to, but the worse it got for Cruz, the more I enjoyed it. I actually got a few laughs...
And I totally agree that Seth Myers did much better than most of the "news" programs have. He didn't have any agenda except to do a good interview, and it clearly paid off.
