Rock Stars for Bernie

Jon Fishman has finally joined Twitter. The Phish drummer revealed the news today, along with his new handle: @jfishman600. Fishman decided to take the plunge out of a desire to express his support for Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, who is also currently an Independent Senator from Vermont. As of now, the drummer’s only Twitter activity has been a retweet of Sanders’ call for earlier debates.

A post on Fishman’s personal Facebook page reads:

That Bernie should hold his rallies in the desert and call it "Bernieman." Somebody added, "And Phish can play." So this is right on time.

Burning Man 2015
