(39,909 posts)Bernie needs to "break out" of New England/North, and spread the Burn across the country.
I currently live in The South, but believe that many Southerners are more than ready to hear Bernie's message of Economic Opportunity and Fairness.
Bernie will be a hard sell in some parts of the country,
but so is Hillary.

(14,608 posts)People might start out being curious about him and when they hear his speeches, packed with statistics and real-life policy solutions, they will ALSO begin to give him money and then they will vote for him (or caucus as is the case in Colorado). Face, we haven't had anyone like Bernie running in a long time.

Now he's being moved to 5pm weekends. I thought it was this month, hoping that they won't move him.

(45,251 posts)I think Ed Schultz has taken it to the line of what MSNBC will tolerate. It did once take away his nightly show and exile him to Sundays. I think it was right before a prison show, too.

(20,219 posts)I would be pretty thrilled with a Bernie presidency. I like Hilary too, I'm not against her, there are many qualities I like....but my first preference would be Bernie. We need his kind of clear opposition to the plutocracy.

(17,998 posts)This is great news. Ed Schultz has been promoting Bernie from the beginning.
Bernie is often on his show. That is when I first began to listen to him and love what he is saying

I think it's great that this producer is willing to give up her job and go work for Bernie though. People really are serious about him.

(18,791 posts)From the Ed Show...and from Vermont...this is great!
(However...I have a gripe. Why is it that it seems that most articles I read about Bernie, have some kind of "word" attached. This article it's nascent...others populist...others socialist...and I think I also saw something like long-shot. Are there such in HRC articles? Jebbie? Etc.? It's bugging me.)

It takes them a while to see if the negative reporting succeeded. It didn't so they're at 'nascent'.
Consider the sources!

(3,544 posts)OMG, He just might do it after all. I totally believed him when he said "We're in this to win".
sabrina 1
(62,325 posts)So, that's our job, to overcome the MSM trying to dismiss him, use the New Media to spread the word, and it's working.
It will take time, it's barely a few weeks and look where we are already.
I believe WE can do it so long as he remains in the race.

(62,325 posts)of $10.00 but will donate as often as possible.
I think I read that he has received about $8 million so far in small donations, not bad for a start.
All the free media he can get will offset having to spend money there.
And of course people should spend some time each day, they are asking for us to do this, on Social Media, forwarding info, where he will be etc, fundraising, just reminders.
That is his secret weapon and so far I am seeing more and more people joining the 'revolution' online. OWS is helpiing using all the Social Media skills they used so well for their own 'movement'.

I'm sure there are some crossover Republicans, sick of that brand, and independents and libertarians and lefty dems that are hungry for sn honest message. Market and Advertise that message, production team.

(62,325 posts)saw Repubs, on Reddit eg, saying things like 'I never thought I would ever not vote Republican, but I really like what this guy is saying'.
Better that Fox doesn't mention him, they will as soon as they realize that he really is going to win this. But imo, the longer they don't acknowledge him, the longer people have to get to know him without their lies and smears influencing them.

(62,325 posts)was surprising to me as I thought the MSM would ignore him. So someone in his campaign has been very successful in making sure he gets on the air.
Free advertising. No need to spend money on negative ads, which most people hate anyhow.

(45,251 posts)be very enthusiastic about Bernie's run.
I noticed that on this board as well. People claiming to be socialists, some even claiming to be flat out supporting Bernie. But, you'd never guess that from their other posts. Others claim to be socialists, but admit to supporting Hillary because supposedly will win the general but Bernie supposedly can't.
It's amusing.
