I'm not joking....
What are they going to do with that Bernie Sanders?
Can you believe the Senate Dems are so out of touch that they don't realize this is exactly why Bernie has over 10 million supporters?

(13,877 posts)because that would be where he could be found. The working man's candidate. Doesn't come around very often. And as usual, management hates him.

(41,204 posts)with fracking groups and 'Fix the Debt' to cut Social Programs, and a ton more of them. Thank heaven Bernie doesn't hang with lobbyists. He deserves high praise for that is what I meant but wasn't clear enough.

(1,000 posts)719 superdelegates... 15% are said to be lobbyists, which would give K street 108 delegates at the convention, 260% more than the state of Nevada.
With 15k registered federal lobbyists, every lobbyist delegate effectively represents the interest of 140 lobbyists.
The state with the number of pledged delegates closest to the 108 the lobbyists get is North Carolina, with 104 pledged delegates. Approximately 1,128,000 voters participated in the NC Democratic primary - about 10,850 voters per pledged delegate.
With 10,850 voters having the same level of influence at the convention as 140 lobbyists, the DNC values the will of each lobbyist approximately 78 times as much as it does each voter.
