Two sisters, both diagnosed with breast cancer. Catherine, a Canadian, focused on getting well, while her American sister received mounting medical bills.

Along with not having to pay anything (while her sister in California was being bombarded with bills), the woman in Ontario reports no waiting time to see the surgeon, to get chemo, or to get radiation.

She also doesn't mention any feelings of oppression she experienced because of having to live under the burden of a system of socialized medicine.
