(18,791 posts)In the top video, when asked about what Boner said...that wry smile...ha! How did I know that he was about to stick it to the Pukes and Boner.
And his message is ALWAYS clear and concise.
We loves the Bern.

(20,795 posts)It's everything Obama can't do: Pound the table. Name names.
He did really well. But he'll never get the nomination.
I also loose hope that he's actually pulling HRC to the left: She's gonna be right where she wants to be, and it has nothing to do with representing me, the middle class.
I'd sooner give up the first woman president for Bernie: The first democratic president.

(957 posts)Elizabeth Warren may run for president in a future election, just imagine if we elect Bernie paving the way for a president like Elizabeth Warren, not saying to disregard Bernie .Just saying a Women President like Elizabeth would be awesome.

(20,795 posts)Wall street would find a way to take out Elizabeth if she ever got that close to the power. They'll stop at nothing.

(957 posts)The body politic (the people are fed up)if this trade deal gets passed it truly could be the spark that starts the revolt that intellectuals are discussing.

(20,795 posts)fast enough for Elizabeth.
I was surprised when america finally turned on Bush 2.0, and that we exhausted our bloodthurst in Iraq. I am still surprised that we never went in to Syria, and I hope we never do.
Electing Obama was a faster curve than I would have dared hope for.
So, let's hope you're right, and I'm a jaded pessimist!
I think america gets the leaders it deserves, and the financial institutions will resort to anything to protect their criminal advantages.

(17,997 posts)And please remember that in the Bernie group, that's what we're supporting him for. Once he does get the nomination, we'll be supporting him in the general

here, but initially introduced him as "Democratic candidate in the primaries"
I suppose it's fair to call Bernie an independent since that's what he's been
for his time in the Senate, but it makes me wonder if they keep trying to
cast him that way, leaving impression that he's an "independent spoiler"
that will help elect a Rethuglican in General.

(957 posts)are just getting to know him,so I do not see that as a problem.Although,I see your point. That Ralph Nader lable spoiler thing is bs.Bush cheated. If someone wants to vote Green or whatever thats their right.

On other side of the coin is that Bernie has always caucused with the Democrats.
So there.

(4,280 posts)We may be surprised when Sanders' followers increase as the months go by. If he is to be the one running, we're going to have tons of work to do, guys! And I'll be out there doing all I can. However, of course I'll vote for the Democrat who is running. I believe Bernie's Presidency would be the best for the US.

(14,605 posts)that CBS News FACE THE NATION is the #1 Sunday morning public affairs program, finishing first in viewers (2.69m) according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings on July 5. Editors Note: FACE THE NATIONs second half-hour was broadcast contiguously across 76.3% of the CBS affiliates.
So here's Bernie on the #1 Sunday morning public affairs program! With 2.69 million viewers of all party affiliations, stating his bold message! F the N is also tied for first in viewership within the 25-54 age group.
Bottom line: great exposure, great message!
Go Bernie!

(5,400 posts)He was good at summarizing his message and without compromising it for the national audience. But he hit it out of the park in that last video. It was sincere, reasoned, and impassioned.
I don't think the Sanders campaign can be matched.
