Martin O'Malley stops in Sioux City.

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) -
With less than six months until the Iowa Caucuses, Presidential hopefuls are making their rounds throughout the state.

Former Maryland governor and potential Democratic nominee, Martin O'Malley, stopped in Sioux City Sunday afternoon, looking to garner support.

This was his third trip to Iowa since announcing his presidential campaign and he spoke with guests at a private home.

He shared, where he sees the U.S. right now and the direction he hopes to take the country in if elected.

O'Malley talked student loans, job wages, and marriage equality.

He also discussed Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's recent comments on immigration.

"I think there were a lot of people, including myself, who found his comments to be just repugnant and awful and totally inconsistent with the generous and compassionate nation that we strive to become," said O'Malley.

O'Malley also shared his hopes for comprehensive immigration reform and how it could bring wages up for the entire country.

Among the many big Supreme Court decisions this week, O'Malley spoke about marriage equality.

He expressed his happiness over the Supreme Court's ruling on Friday, saying it shows that the longer arc of American history is to include more people more equally.
