Coming up on MSNBC - Steve Kornacki on Biden's poll numbers

The teasers he's dropped about this suggest he thinks they're more meaningful than polls this early usually are.

Editing to add that Kornacki is pointing out how different Biden's poll and favorability numbers are from two other frontrunners at this stage in their campaigns, Jeb Bush and Mitt Romney, that some people have tried to compare Biden's campaign to with suggestions he'll be a similarly weak candidate.

See the replies I posted below for details.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

3. He just pointed out how much higher Biden's favorability is, too, than those weak frontrunners.

9. Sorry, when I see "Kornacki" I get annoyed, he seems to feed on others' work. It goes back....

....to the Bridgegate scandal years ago, he capitalized on the work of two reporters from the Bergen Record, presenting it as though it was his work. That, and his gyrations and his faux "casual look" with the meticulously rolled up sleeves. I just don't take anything he says or reports without a huge grain of salt.

And he brings his own joy to reporting what he believes are losing Democrats, imo. He makes me scream at the TV even when there's really not all that much to scream about.
