A subsequent visit Tuesday to the neighboring first-in-the-nation primary state of New Hampshire offered similar optics.
During his first tour of the Granite State in March, Sanders drew a crowd of about 1,000 to Concord. Two months later, his campaign booked the 246-seat auditorium of the citys NHTI Community College, only to find about 50 chairs empty when the candidate took the stage.

But subsequent scrutiny by the local press is the least of Sanders concerns. Capping a two-day tour of the Granite State on Tuesday, he faced a Politico story headlined Inside the 2020 Democrats Survival Strategies that began with the sentence, Bernie Sanders must win New Hampshire.

I find it odd.
I used to live in BTV, and never heard of them when I was there... Ive googled and they do seem to be legitimate though.

(28,749 posts)We can agree on this the senator from VT has been in politics for a while, his VT electorate keeps sending him back to elected office...
We may not agree on this, but Id argue its true.
Based on his constant re-election its likely hes doing something positive for the state.
And yet there isnt a peep about it from VTDigger, a state based publication.
