EV projections based on polls don't always age very well

Let's just pick the best future president then work to elect that person!

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

16. Well maybe it should...the pattern is clear and the states we need votes in is clear...hanging onto

a candidate because one is all in for their policies (that can never happen without a win) who are likely to lose a general is foolish most years...this year it is suicidal because Trump is a murderous scum sucking monster. We lose the courts for a generation if Trump wins...kiss most of the progressive agenda goodbye if that happens.

First, I know the ODP Director and have a lot of familiarity with politics there.

Second, I've had discussions with political professionals on trends.

Ohio has shifted further right since 2012. Consider that, in the wake of the Blue Wave in 2018, every Ohio Statehouse position went to the Republicans.

I won't invest any resources in Ohio unless someone makes a truly compelling case. There are better opportunities elsewhere.

Fortunately, we don't need OH if we take back PA, WI and MI.

15. It is not a joke...both are underwater in that state...statewide races in VA are won by moderates...
Wed Jan 1, 2020, 01:00 PM

the 18 elections were also won by moderates...Northam destroyed Perriello in the primaries...the left's (and Bernie's choice) pick. It is not only possible but very likely we lose the state with either Warren or with Sanders. The reality is we live in a center left country at best and we need votes in states that are moderate in terms of politics...and denying that reality will give Trump four more years.
