He had Indiana as a toss-up, when most models had it for McCain, and Obama squeaked out a win.

The country wasn’t as racist then. That was the pre-Trump era, before we had a subtle but pervasive campaign to convince older white folks (like me) that we were going to lose our God-given superior position to “those” people.
I feel strongly that we will win in 2020 because I can’t accept that 51% of this country will accept that un-American and U.N.-Christian position.
