Bernie Supporters Drag CNN for 'No Clear Leader' Headline on Poll With Sanders Clearly in Lead

Activists and politicos were burning up and burning CNN Friday and Saturday over their recent use of a poll graphic headline that read “no clear leader” over poll results that showed Bernie Sanders clearly in the lead.

The particular screenshot of the poll that drew social media fire was from Friday night’s CNN Tonight, during which host Don Lemon and guest CNN political analyst Harry Enten discussed the situation in Iowa. Enten was clear in his commentary that the four front-runners are the only real contenders, and that he believes the nominee will come from among them.

1. They are all within the margin of error. 11% are undecided, and I believe 20% said they could

the "clear" leader if he has just a 3 point lead in a poll. Everything is not a conspiracy to hurt Bernie or disrespect his supporters.

...that have denied Biden being the clear leader even though he has maintained a ~10%+ lead over Sanders nationally for damn near an entire year, right?

5. That is a single poll, and Senator Sanders' supporters are pretending...

...that this one poll is automatically accurate.

I love how for months and months Biden lead the country and Sanders supports kept saying how polls didn't matter. Bernie gets one poll where he is on top and they pretend that it is automatically accurate. The polls said Trump would lose too, but hey, this one poll has got to be right, eh?

6. One poll does not a trend make.

Besides, polling in caucus states is likely to be inaccurate. We'll find out on February 4 if there is a "clear leader" or if the four top candidates just split up the delegates more or less evenly.

Until then, we're just guessing.

a 3 point lead isn't consequential, and ground game could end up rearranging anything. But if it feels better to find "enemies" to complain about.....

3% lead with a 3.7% MOE. It would be helpful if people had a clue how polls work.

say they have not made up their minds...could be a surprise on primary day...hope Sanders loses and badly so we can move on and he won't have a leg to stand on with this brokered convention nonsense. I will vote for Sanders in a general but never a primary.

Because when polls had Buttigieg ahead only a little bit more, he was clearly in the front.

In fact, that seems to happen a lot. When Sanders is ahead there is no clear front runner. IF someone else is even a bit ahead or in a few cases a little behind Sanders) there IS a clear front runner.
