(14,907 posts)But regardless, warren is probably closest to my positions. I especially like her proposal to break up the big tech companies like google, amazon, fb, etc.
But I'm supporting biden for elect ability reasons. He is still progressive (despite what the bob camp says), but stands the best chance to run up the score where it counts.

(2,657 posts)The United States House of Representatives will stop Biden from drifting too far to the right, and Biden will stop the U.S. House of Representatives from drifting too far to the left. Then, all we need is the Senate.

so, I guess, based on other responses I should vote for Biden because he's an old white man and that is the only "electable" type of human.

(17,608 posts)Interestingly, only a 2 point difference between Joe and Bernie - 12 to 10. What the quiz doesn't show is relative importance of the issues. Also does not include character or electability. I know that my preference for Joe as the nominee over Bernie is much stronger than the 2 points shown by the quiz. But the strong showing for agreement with Steyer shows why I "signed up" for him on DU, even though I think it's quite a long shot for him to win the nomination.

(10,435 posts)not really a surprise. Nor was the fact that Sanders was right behind.
What shocked me was that STEYER was 2nd, a close second, followed by a close third (Sanders), then the rest of the pack.
Steyer needs to make his positions on issues more clear, as I still see him as an environmentalist billionaire wanting to either buy the job or make sure his taxes don't go up. He needs to get the message out
