(1,713 posts)This race is between Biden and Sanders. Let's face it. Unless Pete or Warren win IA and NH, it's a two person race. If Biden were to win IA and NH- the race is essentially over on March 3. IA and NH is a must for the anti Biden candidate

(18,672 posts)I dont hate Bernie at all, but am concerned at how much hype and propaganda is being stirred up around his name online that does not mesh with reality, and its not all being done by his supporters. There are malicious actors involved as well.

(1,315 posts)They either want Sanders to win or make his supporters feel that he is winning and it was maliciously snatched away from him by the "establishment" so they would stay home, vote third party or vote for Trump.
Sanders supporters have 0% awareness of how they are being manipulated

(18,672 posts)I am very liberal and work around a lot of liberals (for once, thank dog). Not one of them are backing Sanders. He is simply not on most Democrats radar. Biden is.
Also, I was a Sanders supporter for a time years ago and even went to caucus for him. He won the caucus because there were a lot of diehard (and some very loud and rude) Sanders supporters there, but when we had our mail-in Primary, Hillary won by landslide. The voracious Sander's support I'm seeing online is not reflected in reality in any shape or form, and that really bothers me. We are being heavily influenced by outside forces who want to divide America so they can reap the spoils from an easily manipulated populace of heavy consumers.
Biden isn't my first choice, but it looks like he is our likely candidate at this point, though things can change. We know Putin and all the dictators who are able to play Trump absolutely do not want Biden in the White House. They know Sanders won't get the votes Biden will, especially from more moderate Democrats and Independents, which like it or not, are our bread and butter.

(23,559 posts)The aggregate result may or may not be good- the variation among groups is interesting. For instance, Im not surprised to see the poll detail show Sanders doing better than average among voters of households with LGBT people.
