(1,474 posts)There's so much handwringing about this primary season, but on the positive side, it has become very dramatic and it is constantly a matter of utmost importance in the media. More attention is good.

(10,845 posts)He draws across demographics and bites into Trump's support in the swing states we need to turn this disaster around. That ability to tap a wide voting base + his qualifications and unique experience in foreign policy make him the candidate of the moment. And he's trusted as a public servant, someone who will work for the well-being and welfare of the American public while pulling us back from the abyss, then getting on with the urgent issues.
Joe can do this! There's a reason Trump has spent so much time dumping on Joe Biden, why this whole Ukraine deal came into being. The only other candidate Trump genuinely fears is Mike Bloomberg. Bloomberg is starting to really get under the Trumpster's skin. Which is good. A panicky Trump is a weakened Trump, subject to even more ridiculous outbursts and miscued strategies.
Onward to November!
