Biden Leads First Post-Debate Poll By 11 Points Over Sanders, 18 Points Over Warren

Former Vice President Joe Biden holds comfortable double-digit leads over Independent Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders and Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren in the first poll taken since Tuesday’s Democratic presidential debate.

On Saturday, SurveyUSA released the first national poll taken since Tuesday’s CNN/Des Moines Register debate, and Biden’s 32 percent support gives him an 11 point lead over Sanders, who attracted 21 percent support in the poll, and an 18 point lead over Warren, who is at 14 percent.

Former South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg is in fourth place with nine percent.

Biden continued his strong showing with black voters as well, garbering 50 percent to Sanders’ 18 percent and Warren’s nine percent.

There's so much handwringing about this primary season, but on the positive side, it has become very dramatic and it is constantly a matter of utmost importance in the media. More attention is good.

Biden is my first choice since he can win enough states to beat trump. A Biden/Harris ticket would be awesome.

He draws across demographics and bites into Trump's support in the swing states we need to turn this disaster around. That ability to tap a wide voting base + his qualifications and unique experience in foreign policy make him the candidate of the moment. And he's trusted as a public servant, someone who will work for the well-being and welfare of the American public while pulling us back from the abyss, then getting on with the urgent issues.

Joe can do this! There's a reason Trump has spent so much time dumping on Joe Biden, why this whole Ukraine deal came into being. The only other candidate Trump genuinely fears is Mike Bloomberg. Bloomberg is starting to really get under the Trumpster's skin. Which is good. A panicky Trump is a weakened Trump, subject to even more ridiculous outbursts and miscued strategies.

Onward to November!
