Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumThe Sanders Attack Biden cant ignore
For as many years there has been Videos of Sanders sayig a women can be President. there are videos of Biden saying he would be fine cutting Social security.
As then-President Barack Obamas vice president, Biden served as Obamas liaison to Senate Republicans at a time when Obama had put a cut to Social Security cost-of-living adjustment on the table in pursuit of grand bargain that would also increase tax revenue. Obama would make that technical change, the chained consumer price index, part of his 2013 budget resolution, prompting a White House protest where Sanders spoke.

Also
The mentality of Biden-style Democrats that the best the party could do was play defense was dominant for a generation, but is now being fundamentally challenged.
Biden himself, at least on his campaign website, now supports making Social Security more generous, not less. But thats at odds with decades of his own advocacy, a record that could become a major political liability among voters concerned Biden will finally get his wish to trim back Social Security checks
...
With this years presidential contest being fought over the terrain of electability, Bidens 35-plus-year effort to cut Social Security, arguably the most popular government program in existence, is potentially a major liability among older voters and hypocrisy has never held Trump back from making an effective political attack. Bidens historical position also stands in stark contrast to Sens. Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, both of whom support increasing benefits and have offered ways to make the program solvent indefinitely.

Finally, though I am sure people will reject this because of the source, my point in posting is to have a compilation of times Biden said he was ok with cutting Socal Security. Yes, it has a candidate it likes. It doesn't' deny that. But you can just skip to 2:13 and see the Biden clips for yourself.
