Dear Sanders supporters: while Bernie is not my first choice in the primary, I will absolutely

100% support, work for and vote for him if he is our nominee. To do otherwise would be an act of insanity. But, while I sincerely admire and respect your zeal in support of the candidate you believe is "the one", I have a problem with SOME of the Sanders supporters.

Other good genuine Democrats prefer other candidates. And, if one of their champions wins the nomination, I am not at all confident that SOME of your fellow Bernie boosters will support them. Worse, I fear some will take actions that will damage our candidate and help Trump get re-elected.

This is not about 2016. It is about Turner and Sirota and several others who have been given positions of authority in the Sanders campaign. Some are proud of having voted for Jill Stein. Others are regularly praised by White Wingers and Trump himself. I am not comfortable with such people and I wonder if it does not give you pause to see such folks placed at the top of the campaign you've chosen to support.

I have been very reasonable and respectful up to this point in this post, but I cannot end it without being very blunt: ANY supporter of ANY candidate and ANY candidate or political operative who cannot unequivocally state, in public, that they will support the Democratic nominee, WHOEVER that may be, should not let the door hit them in the ass.

We will be better off without you.

I agree with you. We all have a favorite (I have more than one - such riches!) but we must all stand 100% behind our nominee because we MUST defeat The Orange One! I recall how upset I was reading posts from a former FB friend spouting all of the Russian "Killery" malarkey. I do hope we don't see that again. That "friend" became a Stein supporter and is probably on the same train this time around. Very dangerous business.

But the truth is that no one gets all the primary votes during the GE

The good news is that more people will vote in the GE than the primaries.

We need to get those who have not voted to polls and persuade some Trump, Stein, Johnson voter-types to vote for the Democratic nominee.

We can do it.
