Former Vice President Joe Biden is leading the Democratic presidential primary field, according to a new national poll. Biden is supported by 24 percent of registered Democrats and independents, based on a Reuters-Ipsos poll released Thursday.
Biden is closely trailed by Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), who has 20 percent support, based on the poll. Both candidates saw an uptick in support from a Reuters-Ipsos poll released last month that showed Biden with 19 percent support and Sanders at 14 percent support.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) maintained her third place spot behind Sanders, at 12 percent. Its a 3-point increase in support for Warren since last months poll.
Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloombergs support increased by 6 points to 10 percent, leapfrogging ahead of former South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg at 7 percent. Buttigiegs support increased 1 point since last months poll.

And this will be a repeat
Sanders got 40% of the dem primary votes in 2016, he is polling half that now. Even if were to gain all of Warrens support it would not even give him the 2016 total. thehill.com

(15,514 posts)This time there are many. Hillary would not get 50-something either this time around with Biden and Warren in the race. Also, I'm not sure why any Democrat would want a "repeat" of 2016.

(673 posts)you mean democratic primary voters, then yeah. Hillary beat Sanders by a huge margin in every aspect. He didn't win the primary, therefor, he wasn't the nominee.
Saying that it was stolen from him is just spouting Russian/Trumpian propaganda.
