Our progressive candidates have great proposals, but in order to win Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan we will need a centrist candidate that has wide appeal. We will need to win those states for an electoral college win..I think Biden would do the best because he is well liked and a decent man who can restore our stature on the world stage We will need every advantage to win in 2020. For me winning is EVERYTHING.

He leads in net favorability amongst all the candidates ...He is re-elected by a 2-1 margin in Vermont ..Bernie is the strongest candidate in the Rust Belt because he opposed the trade deals that gutted our manufacturing base …..How many times do we have to go down the centrist, Establishment lane before admitting it does not work ? ……..Our base will not show up again ….Then 4 more years of Donald Trump …

There is a reason Trump wants to run against Sanders. Why? Because he and the GOP think Sanders is the easiest candidate to beat. I believe we will lose if Sanders is the nominee. I would vote for Sanders if he turns out to be the nominee, but I sure hope I don't have to.

Even under Obama, the rich had tremendous sway to block and water down good legislation.

I think that the 1 percenters can accept Joe Biden, many might prefer Biden as they would see him as more stable. But if Bernie were nominated, these billionaires would spend the unlimited amount of $$ that they are allowed to spend bashing Bernie Sanders threatening a melt-down of our financial system.

It would probably be the same for the candidate that I support, Elizabeth Warren. But Elizabeth Warren would never accept an endorsement from a birther conspiracist. She would never hire Jill Stein supporters to the very highest levels of her campaign. She would be gracious if she loses the nomination, and she would immediately endorse the winner without inviting nasty delegates to the Democratic Convention that boo the nominee and scream at his/her supporters.

he would hopefully squeak by and win the presidency but there won't be any coattails in those purple state senate races and Mitch will remain in charge. We are going to need a landslide election and that ain't likely going to happen with Bernie.

we all live in our little bubble and few see the realities of what could happen... yes younger voters are not afraid of the word socialism (and I have always called myself a socialist ) but recent polls and studies show that most Republicans and older people are

Poll: (only) 42% Of Young Americans, 19% Of Republicans Would Vote For A Socialist President

now I know, and many here as well know, that the Republicans will use that word ad nauseum and scare the jebeebus out of uninformed people

Biden supporters here assume Biden wins, but I'm not sure. I really am not sure.
