Iowa: Emerson Poll real news Klobuchar in 3rd

[link:

/photo/1|

This is only +3 for Klobuchar. Only one poll and of course this doesn't tell us much.

But if Klobuchar actually finished third in Iowa that would be a bigger story then a Sanders win. It would fundamentally reshape the race. First it would severely damage both Warren and Buttigieg. It would probably put Sanders in the commanding position to claim the progressive wing and with a win in NH put warren out of the race in practice if not in reality.

An earthquake actually.

I think maybe Elizabeth Warren in a scenario in which the Centrists feel they need to make peace with the Left-wing.

I don't see a Joe / Amy scenario.

It may come down to the price of corn next week. Not for first or second but after that.

China has made no purchases of corn and soybeans since the deal except from Argentina. Believe it or not that could have a rel effect on the coming outcome.

Given where/how Trump got over 270, a DE / MN rooted ticket should help swing PA, MI, and WI back.

I would talk about flipping FL, but the voter registration trend there is not favorable for us at all.
