If Biden gets the nomination

Will he purge the party leadership of progressives and liberals?

Just asking cause apparently worrying over what a nominee will do to his opposition is a thing.

primary today, I would vote for:

Just as the thread warning that Sanders will purge the party is fear mongering.

Most of the threads in primaries are based on opinion and most of those opinion cast the candidate they don't like as the "other".

Sanders is hateful because "reasons", Biden is the only one who can win because "reasons", Warren is a sell out corporatist because "reason.. And so it goes.

If you look at his platform and history of supporting civil rights, voters rights, women’s rights, LBGQT rights, the ACA..he was progressive long before the current movement decided to use the tag “progressive.”

nothing wrong with that . I just don't think we can win from the '' safe'' spot any more . we need too push so far left they break their necks looking right. and that would be sanders or warren or both together.

The party leadership is what it is. It's made up of people who have put in their time and hard work to make the Democratic Party work. In 2018, we regained control of the House, by defeating Republicans in many districts. Most of those who won in those districts were moderates, not "progressives." Liberals? Pretty much all Democrats can wear that label proudly.

Biden's not going to do anything of the sort. His goal will be to unite all Democrats in the battle for this country.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
